Experience:

Commercial project experience includes multiple precast panel warehouses in Dandenong South ,Mornington and Eltham along with renovation and fit out works to bulky goods retail warehouse stores and commercial buildings across Melbourne.

Project management responsibilities across a range of developments with external builders include, ensuring compliance and quality control, managing claims and  inspections.

Successfully coordinating defect rectification through defect liability period for a landmark office building in Geelong and securing a clients VMIA defects claim for well in excess of $1m due to builder insolvency, reflect a high level of inspection and reporting professionalism.

Since 2000, as a Director of Base Industries Pty Ltd, I have directed residential construction and project management in Victoria and Queensland and commercial and civil project management in Victoria. I have contributed extensively to design and problem-solving for custom build projects, working closely with designers, engineers, and sub-trades.

As a registered builder and Superintendent, projects include 54 apartment student accommodation, residential developments including a 14 apartment warehouse conversion and a range of multi-unit site developments ranging from 2-14 units and high end custom homes.

Recently, in 2022, I founded Independent Building Inspections Victoria providing inspection and reporting services to consumers experiencing difficulties with residential building defects . My role includes conducting residential construction building inspections, including practical completion, dilapidation, thermographic and expert reports for dispute resolution and legal proceedings.
